South Dakota State returns home this week to play its first Summit League games of the season at Frost Arena. The weekend starts with a match-up against Oral Roberts on Thursday at 7 p.m., followed by a game against Centenary on Saturday in the Pork Classic in the back end of a doubleheader at 7:30 p.m.
The Golden Eagles come to Frost Arena with a 7-6 overall record, 2-0 in league play, and fresh off of a 75-66 win over No. 13 New Mexico last week. Centenary, who opens the weekend at North Dakota State on Thursday, picked-up its fifth win of the season on Monday with a win over Louisiana-Lafayette.
SDSU scored first and led until the 10:31 mark of the first half in its last outing at Minnesota, but the Golden Gophers ended the half on a 22-4 run that turned into a 51-31 halftime lead and eventually a 92-62 win at Williams Arena.
Garrett Callahan led all players with 25 points, including a 6-for-13 effort from three-point range. Nate Wolters added 14 points and led the Jacks with seven rebounds.
The only player to average in double figures this year, Callahan leads the Jacks with 13.0 points per game and with 11 steals. Clint Sargent adds 9.9 points per game and a team-high 85 percent free throw percentage. Kai Williams and Anthony Cordova both average 9.2 points per game, with Williams leading the team with 4.8 rebounds per game, followed closely by Cordova with 4.6 rebounds per game.

Williams led the Jacks in rebounding in each of his first three years on the team, and currently leads the team with 4.8 rebounds per game.
SARGENT CLOSES IN ON 1,000 POINTS - Jackrabbit junior Clint Sargent entered the season with 652 points, 348 shy of becoming the 41st member of the SDSU 1,000 Point Club. His 129 points so far this season gives him 781 career-points, 219 points shy of joining the club.
