GENERAL INFORMATION
The South Dakota State Sports Information Office welcomes your interest in Jackrabbit athletics and will make every effort to make your coverage of the Jackrabbits an enjoyable experience. The Athletics Communicationd Office maintains information on all current student-athletes, as well as historical information on previous student-athletes and the program in general.
COMMUNICATING WITH JACKRABBIT COACH, STUDENT-ATHLETE, OR ADMINISTRATOR POLICY
The South Dakota State Athletics Communications office strives to comply with all legitimate interview requests for Jackrabbit coaches, student-athletes and administrators in a timely fashion. Interviews must be arranged through the Communications office, preferably arranged 24-48 hours in advance from Monday-Thursday. Members of the media and public may not contact student-athletes directly without approval. The SDSU Athletics Communications office does not release the phone numbers of student-athletes without the consent of a student-athlete. Coaches and/or student-athletes may not be interviewed prior to a contest on the day of a game/event, but may do so 10 minutes after the conclusion of a contest(s) by contacting a member of the Communications staff.

GAMETRACKER / LIVE STATS
A live statistical account of every home baseball, basketball, football, soccer, softball and volleyball contest is scheduled to be available online at GoJacks.com. Additional home and away events may also be available. Check GoJacks.com for an updated schedule.
INTERNET ACCESS
The press areas for baseball, basketball, football, softball and volleyball all have reliable functioning wireless Internet access. Other sports may also have wireless access or wired connections. Please contact the sports information contact for each sport for more information.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Photography credentials are issued to daily newspapers, wire services and special periodical publications. No flash photography is permitted and strobe use must be approved in advance. Photographers are required to stay behind the marked areas outside the playing area.
AREAS OF CONCERN
Coaches and University officials cannot make comments on prospective student-athletes until they sign a national letter of intent. A coach cannot comment on a prospective student-athlete who verbally commits to an institution.
The South Dakota State Sports Information Office cannot disclose any health issue relating to a student-athlete due to the HEALTH INSURANCE PORTABILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY ACT OF 1996 (HIPAA).
