Thursday's game also marks the first in a season-long seven game road trip, which includes games against Bakersfield on Friday and at Utah State on Saturday in the World Vision Classic, followed by a game at Utah on Tuesday, Dec. 23, in Salt Lake City, and at Northern Iowa on Dec. 28. The road trip concludes with the start of Summit League play at Denver on Jan. 2 and at North Dakota State on Jan. 4.
Along with pushing their home winning streak to nine games, the Jackrabbits win over the Vandals on Saturday avenged an 82-77 loss on Nov. 17, in Moscow, Idaho.
Idaho opened the game on a 12-1 run, but the Jacks battled back to take a 38-35 lead at halftime, and held off a late Vandal charge to secure the 87-85 win.
Deondre Parks led four Jackrabbits in double figures with 20 points and added a team-high six rebounds. Reed Tellinghuisen finished with a career-high 17 points, while Cody Larson scored 15 and Jake Bittle 13 points in the win.
