12/20/2014 12:20:00 PM | Men's Basketball
The Jackrabbits struggled to shoot 35.2 percent for the game, 19 of 54, but held the Roadrunners to 34.8 percent shooting, 14 of 46 for the game. SDSU won the rebounding battle 36-35, including a 10-7 edge on offensive rebounds, and turned those boards into 13 second chance points, while CSUB scored just two second chance points.
The second chance points made up for the free throw difference in the game, as the Roadrunners went 12 for 17 from the charity stripe, while the Jackrabbits converted five of their nine chances from the line.
George Marshall led all players in the game with 18 points, and tied a career-high with four 3-pointers in the process. Zach Horstman added 12 points. Cody Larson scored a season-low four points, but finished with a career-high six assists and a pair of blocks in the win.
