The last time SDSU played a game on Feb. 7, in the state of Indiana, 2012, Wolters set school records with 53 points and nine 3-pointers in a win at Fort Wayne. No Jackrabbit threatened either record at IUPUI, but the Jacks still left with a win over the Jaguars to improve to 18-8 overall and to 9-3 in league play.
Cody Larson led a trio of Jackrabbits in double figures with 16 points, adding three each in assists and steals. George Marshall finished with 15 points and tied a career-high with eight rebounds, while Jake Bittle added 13 points and led the Jacks with four each in assists and steals.
The Bison come to Brookings with an 18-7 overall record and a 10-2 mark in league play after a 73-69 overtime win at Denver on Thursday.
TONIGHT'S OPPONENT
NORTH DAKOTA STATE BISON (18-7, 10-2 Summit): The Summit League's defending regular season and tournament champion Bison beat Denver in overtime on Thursday, and sit atop the league standings with a 10-2 mark in league play, with their losses coming at South Dakota on Jan. 14, and at Fort Wayne on Jan. 24.
Picked to finish fifth in the league's preseason poll, NDSU also won two other overtime games in league play, winning 69-61 at IUPUI on Jan. 22 and at home against Denver on Jan. 29.
The Bison lead the all-time series 112-98 after sweeping the season series last year and after topping the Jacks in the first meeting of this season. The Jacks last win in the series came on March 12, 2013, when SDSU downed the Bison 73-67 to win in The Summit League Championships.
THE SERIES vs. NORTH DAKOTA STATE
The Jackrabbits lead the all-time series 11-6, with wins in each of the last 10 meetings, including a season sweep in each of the last three seasons and a win in The Summit League Championships in both 2012 and 2013. SDSU won the first meeting of the season, 68-53, in Brookings.
