The College Sports Communicators organization announced its Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Teams on Tuesday with South Dakota State's
Matthew Mors recognized. Mors is the first Jackrabbit from the men's squad to be named an All-District choice since 2023.
Mors recently completed his junior season of eligibility at SDSU during the 2024-25 campaign. The Yankton, S.D., native was the lone player on the roster to start and play in all 32 games for the Jackrabbits. The most recent season saw Mors complete career highs in per game averages in points (8.6), rebounds (3.5), assists (1.3) and minutes played (25.8). He also registered career bests in field goal percentage (49.7%) and 3-point percentage (35.5%). Mors had 11 double-digit scoring performances and nine games with five-plus rebounds. The Jackrabbit forward has a grade-point average over 3.50 while at SDSU and is majoring in sport and recreation management.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
