IRVING, Texas — Twelve South Dakota State student-athletes are part of a record class for the 2025 National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame Hampshire Honor Society, which was announced Wednesday.

The Jackrabbit honorees include:
Nominated by their respective schools, members of the NFF Hampshire Honor Society must be a senior player who will graduate this spring/summer and just completed his final year of playing in 2024, or a graduated player or graduate transfer who has already earned a bachelor's degree and competed in 2024. Nominees also must have been a starter or key contributor throughout the 2024 season and maintained a minimum undergraduate cumulative grade-point average of 3.2.

SDSU was one of 97 schools across all divisions and one of 23 Football Championship Subdivision programs with 10 or more honorees. Across all divisions of the NCAA, NAIA and sprint football, a record total of 2,532 student-athletes from 339 schools qualified for membership.

In addition, South Dakota State is one of 24 programs to have had at least one player honored in all 19 years (2007-present) of the NFF Hampshire Honor Society, with 116 Jackrabbit football student-athletes honored since its inception. The initiative has now recognized more than 20,000 student-athletes nationwide.
