SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — South Dakota State's Grayson Ring and Claire Beckman win Kwik Star Peak Performer of the Week as announced by the Summit League Tuesday afternoon.
Ring takes Kwik Star Men's Field Peak Performer of the Week following an amazing outing at the USD Twilight as the junior won the high jump competition by tying Ben Jasinski's program record of 7-01.00 (2.16m). Ring is set up well for a solid postseason run as his jump is currently tied for 17th in the west region and tied for 26th in the nation.
Claire Beckman is awarded Kwik Star Women's Track Peak Performer of the Week after competing for the Jackrabbits at the Cyclone Twilight in Ames, Iowa, this past weekend. Beckman finished fourth in the 800-meter at 2:07.68 to move up to fourth-best performer in program history.
Up Next: The Jackrabbits head to Vermillion to compete in the Summit League Outdoor Championships beginning Thursday afternoon.
