JACKRABBIT CLUB TOPS $2.7 MILLION

Jackrabbit Club members contributed more than $2.74 million during the most recent fiscal year, South Dakota State University officials announced on Tuesday.

"With both the Jackrabbit Club and Jackrabbit Athletic Scholarship Auction surpassing over $2.5 million, we cover the cost of our athletic scholarship bill for the third straight year." SDSU Director of Athletics Justin Sell said. "Thank you to the loyal donors and fans for their continued support that directly impacts our success in the classroom and competition."

The dollar amount represents the third consecutive year that Jackrabbit Club has surpassed $2 million. Annual membership in the Jackrabbit Club remains the most fundamental way to support SDSU student-athletes, with the annual fund supporting SDSU Athletics scholarship funding. Each dollar donated to the Jackrabbit Club is a direct investment in Jackrabbit student-athletes.

"The continued support of the Jackrabbit Club is a testament to the passion of Jackrabbit Nation and their belief in the value of a scholarship at SDSU," SDSU Associate Athletic Director Ryan Christy said. "We are so thankful and appreciative to our generous donors for their loyalty to the mission of the Jackrabbit Club – investing in lifelong champions."

In addition to supporting student-athlete scholarships, Jackrabbit Club members enjoy a host of great benefits throughout the athletics calendar. Benefits include priority parking and seating at Jackrabbit home games, inside access to their favorite SDSU programs, invitations to exclusive events, discounts at select local businesses, and more.
