SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Summit League released the 2025-26 men's basketball schedule on Wednesday. The South Dakota State men's basketball program will get the conference slate started on New Year's Day in First Bank & Trust Arena.
SDSU's league opener has the Jackrabbits hosting reigning Summit League champion Omaha in Brookings on Jan. 1.
The month of January sees SDSU hosting Denver (Jan. 8), Kansas City (Jan. 17) and Oral Roberts (Jan. 31). The Jacks hit the road for matchups at North Dakota (Jan. 3), North Dakota State (Jan. 14), St. Thomas (Jan. 22) and Omaha (Jan. 28).
The Jackrabbit men have a three-game homestand that extends into February.
Following the Jan. 31 matchup versus Oral Roberts, SDSU will then take on St. Thomas in First Bank & Trust Arena on Feb. 4. The annual Interstate Series, presented by First Interstate Bank, contest against South Dakota is scheduled for Feb. 7 in Brookings.
Four of SDSU's final six games take place on the road. The Jacks go on a road trip that features matchups at Denver (Feb. 12) and Oral Roberts (Feb. 14).
The Jackrabbits' final home regular season games have SDSU taking on NDSU (Feb. 18) and North Dakota (Feb. 21).
State will close out the regular season at Kansas City (Feb. 26) and South Dakota (Feb. 28).
SDSU's 16-game conference schedule preps the Jackrabbits for the 2025 Men's Basketball Summit League Championship. The conference tournament spans from March 4-8, 2026, at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.
