SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota State garnered six first-place votes in the Summit League's preseason volleyball coaches' poll released Tuesday. The Jackrabbits, who will host the 2025 Volleyball Championship, won the regular season title last season.
The Jackrabbits claimed the top spot ahead of South Dakota, who received three first-place votes. St. Thomas, Omaha and Denver round out the top-five teams.

Sylvie Zgonc were named Players to Watch. Both were All-Summit and All-Region honorees a season ago, with Zgonc also collecting honorable mention All-America honors.

- Recorded 301 digs, which ranked first on the Jackrabbit team and 10th in the league
- Posted a season-high 25 kills and 27.5 points against Denver (10/26)
