South Dakota State and Weber State have finalized a home-and-home football series that will be played over the next two seasons. The 2027 date completes the Jackrabbits' nonconference schedule for the upcoming campaign.
Weber State will host the first meeting, which is slated for Sept. 11, 2027, at Stewart Stadium in Ogden, Utah. SDSU is scheduled to host the return game on Sept. 16, 2028, at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium.
The 2027 matchup between the Jackrabbits and Wildcats will mark the first meeting between the programs since 1976. Overall, Weber State holds a 3-0 series lead.
In addition, SDSU will go on the road to start the 2027 season with an Aug. 28 meeting at Iowa State.
The Jackrabbits' four-game nonconference slate also includes home games against St. Thomas on Sept. 4 and Southeastern Louisiana on Sept. 18. SDSU last played St. Thomas in 1971, while the game against Southeastern Louisiana concludes a home-and-home series that began with a 41-0 Jackrabbit road win in 2024.
Game times and the 2027 Missouri Valley Football Conference schedule will be announced at later dates.
