- Audrey Shindelar came off the bench to score a team-high 15 points in the Jacks' opener, the most points by an SDSU freshman in a season opener in at least 20 years.
- Claire Sheppard set career highs off the bench Monday with seven points and eight rebounds.
- SDSU has 11 returners from last season's NCAA Tournament team and two freshmen.
- Brooklyn Meyer returns for a fifth season with the Jacks. She averaged 22.6 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.6 points per game last year and was named the Mid-Major Player of the Year.
