LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The South Dakota State softball program was again recognized as an NFCA Team GPA Award honoree, while several Jackrabbits were highlighted as Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes for the 2025-26 academic year the organization announced this week.Â

SDSU tallied a near 3.6 GPA over the course the 2025-26 school year. The Jackrabbits ranked among the top 80 Division I softball programs in terms of GPA.Â

South Dakota State had 16 student-athletes record cumulative GPAs of 3.50 or higher to earn Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors. They included

The rankings and honors recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across the Association's membership categories. NCAA Division I led the way with 2,637 student-athletes earning a 3.5 grade-point average or higher for 2025-26.
