FOOTBALL GAMEDAY ENHANCEMENTS OUTLINED

South Dakota State Athletics will roll out a number of enhancements to the gameday experience at Jackrabbit football games this fall.

Fans will be able to choose from a handful of new food and beverage options at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium this season. Menu additions include walking tacos, three varieties of mac and cheese, as well as cinnamon-sugar pretzel bites. Two ice cream kiosks have been added in the stadium, as well as a new grab-and-go End Zone Express concessions stand in the south concourse.

Beginning this fall, parking lots designated for Jackrabbit Club members will be divided into three zones: Northwest, Southwest and East. Each summer, Jackrabbit Club members with football season tickets will have the opportunity to select parking based off membership level in one of the three zones, and will be able to park in any lot inside their selected zone on gameday.

General parking can be found in several pay lots south of North Campus Drive (south and east of Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium). Cost is $10 per stall and transactions will move to a cashless system this season.

Also new in 2026 is the ability for season ticket holders who opt for mobile tickets to receive an all-in-one mobile ticket that automatically updates in their Apple or Google wallet. Instead of downloading a separate ticket for each game, fans will only see the upcoming home game. Upon conclusion of a home game, the ticket will automatically update to the next home game on the schedule.

Several themed games are planned for the 2026 season and fans are encouraged to dress in Jackrabbit gear as outlined below:
• Aug. 29 – Fans wear blue
• Sept. 12 – Fans wear black
• Sept. 19 – Fans wear white
• Sept. 26 – Fans wear yellow and blue
• Oct. 24 – Fans wear yellow and blue (Hobo Day)
• Oct. 31 – Fans wear blue
• Nov. 21 – Fans dress warm
