Upcoming Event: Equestrian versus Yellow and Blue Scrimmage on September 20, 2025 at 9 a.m.

The South Dakota State equestrian team closed out the home portion of its schedule on Monday with a 10-7 defeat of Minnesota-Crookston at the DeHaan Equestrian Center on the SDSU campus.
The Jackrabbits and Golden Eagles tied on the English side with four points each, but the Jacks did finish with a score of 583, compared to 569 for UMC. The SDSU Western riders put-up six points, three more than UMC, with a total score of 1,168 for the Jacks and 1,077.5 for the Golden Eagles.
Ashley Marrin led the Jacks in the English events with 83 points in equitation on the flat and earned MVP honors in equitation over fences filling in for an injured Jenna Boscardin.
Three Jackrabbits scored points in each Western Event, led by Lydia Placzek, who scored in both horsemanship and reining, earning MVP honors in the later event.
