The South Dakota State equestrian team falls to No. 1 Texas A&M, 12-7 at the DeHaan Equestrian Center on Saturday.
 
The Rundown
On the Hunt Seat side, the Jacks tied the Aggies in Equitation over Fences, 2-2, with one tie.  
Alissa Greenwald scored the highest ride on the day with an 85, en route to garnering MOP accolades. Freshman 
Jessica Martinez defeated Rebekah Chenelle, 83-77.
 
In Equitation on the Flat, 
Taylor Duerr won the lone point for the Jackrabbits, topping Alex Desiderio, 78-75.
 
On the Western side, senior 
Victoria Johnson rode an outstanding 73, while capturing her first MOP of the season. Senior 
Kelsey Swainston upended Bailey Cook, 72.5-68.5, increasing her career wins to 18.
 
In Reining, 
Mariah Wright dropped Ashton Dunkel, 72-64.5, while 
Miranda Sullivan defeated Haley Franc, 72-69.
