The South Dakota State equestrian team fell short Saturday against a tough opponent in No. 1 Auburn, losing 20-0.

Five Jackrabbits set career-high scores, but couldn't hang in their loss to Auburn. SDSU is now 1-4 on the season and 0-5 all-time against Auburn.

Claire Garduno paced the Jacks in Equitation over Fences with a season-high ride of 84, but Auburn took all five points to go up 5-0 through the first event.

Despite two more career-high scores for the Jacks in Horsemanship, Auburn extended their lead to 10-0. Whitney Vesey set a career-high in with a ride of 75.5. Jadyn Taylor also rode for a career-high 74, besting her previous high of 73.5 from Friday's meet.

Sydney House rode for a career-high 74 in Equitation on the Flat while Jacey Chorlton put up a season-best 87 as Auburn pushed the lead to 15-0.

The final two career-best performances came from Cassidy Gardiner (67) and Rylee Streit (71) in Reining.
