EATONTON, Ga. - Jackrabbit women's golf jumped two sports in the team standings Sunday to finish ninth in the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invite at the Great Waters Golf Course.
SDSU finished with a 914 (+50) team score over the three-round event. The team posted a +7 single-round score Sunday, its best of the weekend, to move into the top 10.
Lani Potter carded an even-par 72 Sunday to move into a tie for 25th in the individual standings. She finished +11 in the tournament. Potter birdies 10 holes over the weekend, the second highest total among all players.
Potter was followed by
Piper Stubbs, who also recorded a 72 in the final round. Stubbs placed 30th at +13, up 21 spots from her Saturday finish. She averaged a 2.92 score on par-3 holes, the second best par-3 average at the tournament.
Shakira-Ann Kuys has the next best finish for the Jacks, at +15 score for 36th place.
Mia Seeman was one shot back at +16.
Hester Sicking rounded out the SDSU team at +20.
Alex Kandolin competed individually and ended up +33.
Sophie Bert and Hollie Muse carded matching +1 scores for East Tennessee State to tie for first place and help the Bucs to the team title. The full tournament results can be found
