BROOKINGS, S.D. – South Dakota State continues its three-game home stand on Saturday when the Jackrabbits take on North Dakota State at 2 p.m. in Frost Arena. SDSU opened the stretch in its home confines by defeating North Dakota, 96-73, on Thursday.

The Jackrabbits produced their top offensive performance of the season so far against the Fighting Hawks. SDSU led 44-35 at the halftime break, then broke the game open with its most points in a half (52) since the 2022 Summit League semifinals and its best shooting half (73.3%) and overall field goal percentage (61.7%) this year.

Six Jacks scored in double figures in the contest, a first for the program in over a year.
Matthew Mors led the charge with a career-high 23 points. His 8-for-9 field goal percentage tied for the sixth best in a single game in program history.
Zeke Mayo recorded his third double-double of the season going for 14 points and 10 rebounds. Also scoring in double digits were

SDSU opened its home stand following a 1-2 road trip. The Jacks dropped a 60-54 contest to St. Thomas on Jan. 26 and an 81-73 overtime decision to Western Illinois on Jan. 28, but pulled out a 67-66 victory over Kansas City on Jan. 30.Â

The Jacks sit in sole possession of second in The Summit League with an 8-4 mark. ORU leads the way at 11-0, while WIU is 7-5 and remains ahead of Kansas City (6-5) and NDSU (6-5).

SDSU has one of the top active win streaks in the month of February among Division I men's basketball programs. The Jackrabbits have won 10 straight games in February with their last loss coming to NDSU in Fargo on Feb. 20, 2021. Ahead of SDSU with active streaks are Colgate (16), Winthrop (15) and Buffalo (12).

North Dakota State defeated SDSU, 65-59, in the two sides' matchup on Jan. 5 in Fargo. The Bison were led by Andrew Morgan's 24 points. Grant Nelson is averaging 19.2 points and 8.8 rebounds in conference play for NDSU.
