The South Dakota State equestrian team will compete in three events this fall and will host the first two.
The Jackrabbits' 2024-25 season will kick off Oct. 4 and 5 against the University of Tennessee Martin and Fresno State at home.Â
Before that, the Yellow and Blue Scrimmage will take place at 9 a.m. on Sept. 21 at the DeHaan Equestrian Center. The intrasquad meet will mark the debut for first-year head coach Kamerra Brown.
SDSU will again grace the dirt Nov. 1 and 2 by hosting UC Davis and Minnesota Crookston in head-to-head competition.
The final event of fall will be against UT Martin and Delaware State at the Dovington Training Center in Felton, Delaware, on Nov. 15 and 16.
The Jackrabbits will get saddled up again in the spring to compete in five events, with the final two being at home.
Fort Worth, Texas will be the location for the first spring competition which the Jackrabbits will take on the host TCU on Jan. 30 before traveling to Dallas for an event against SMU on the 31st.
SDSU will compete against Baylor in Waco, Texas on Feb. 1 before hosting Minnesota Crookston and Baylor on March 7 and 8 for the final events of the regular season.
The Eastern College Athletic Conference championships will be hosted by UT Martin this season and will take place March 27-29.
