Murray State opened the season with a win over Southern Indiana on a buzzer beater Friday night. Halli Poock was the Racers' offensive leader with 22 points, including a 13-for-13 showing at the free throw line. Sharnecce Currie-Jelks posted a 15-point, 14-rebound double-double.
