SEDONA, Ariz. - The South Dakota State women's golf team got off to a strong start at the Red Rocks Invitational Friday but only completed part of the first round before snowfall forced a delay to Saturday.
The Jackrabbits are in first place through 6-12 holes with a 2-under team tally.
Shakira-Ann Kuys is 2-under par with seven holes remaining in her opening lap.
Reese Jansa,
Piper Stubbs and
Molly O'Hara are all even par while
McKenzie Mages is +3.
Play is scheduled to resume Saturday morning at 10 a.m. MST, however the start time may be delayed due to overnight snow. Currently, athletes are expected to finish the first round and play the entire second round Saturday. The final round is scheduled for Sunday.
