NORMAL, Ill. - The South Dakota State women's golf team finished in a tie for sixth place at the Redbird Invitational, which wrapped up Monday at Weibring Golf Club.
The Jackrabbits posted a 903 (+39) final team tally.
Senior
McKenzie Mages secured a top-10 finish, tying for seventh place. She finished with a 221 (+5) over three rounds. This is the 11th top-10 finish of Mages' collegiate career, moving her into a tie for seventh place for career top-ten finishes in SDSU's Division I era.
Riko Danjo tied for 23rd place at +11 on the weekend and
Hannah Boraas was just behind at +12, tying for 27th place.
Samantha Stites was even-par for her final round Monday, moving her into a tie for 42nd place on the leaderboard.
Molly O'Hara tied for 48th place (+18).
Hannah Pettitt competed individually and tied for 71st place with a +27 scorecard.
Eastern Kentucky won the team title with a 15-over final score. The Colonels Karra Tucker finished in first place on the individual leaderboard.Â
NOTES
Mages' 11 top-ten finishes is tied for seventh place in the record book with Islamiah Fuad, Alex Kandolin and
Shakira-Ann Kuys.
