HOLLISTER, Mo. - The South Dakota State women's golf team leads the field by 11 shots following the first day of the Ozarks National Invitational, which was played Monday.
The Jackrabbit team compiled a 304 (+16) team tally during the opening lap. The Jackrabbits were led by
Piper Stubbs, who sits tied for second place at +2 after 18 holes.
Reese Jansa is just behind Stubbs in a tie for fourth place with a +3 tally.
Shakira-Ann Kuys is tied for ninth place (+5) and
McKenzie Mages is one shot back in a tie for 14th place (+6).
Molly O'Hara is +14 and tied for 65th place to round out the team.
Tatum Depuydt is competing individually. She is tied for 30th place with a +8 scorecard.
The Jackrabbits return to the course for round two Tuesday morning.
