Quin Morgan is coming off a Greco-Roman US Open Championship at 97 kg. He'll meet the winner of the U20 World Team Trials tournament in a best 2 out of 3 match for a spot on the US Greco-Roman World Championships Team. In addition to winning the US Open in Greco, Morgan took fourth in the U20 Freestyle Bracket at 97 kg. He will compete at that same weight class this weekend at the World Team Trials.
Alongside Morgan, Riggin Boger also placed at the US Open in Greco-Roman, taking fifth at 77kg. He will compete at the U20 World Team Trials tournament for the opportunity to take on Leister Bowling IV for a spot on the US World Championships Team.
Brady Roark was the other placer at the US Open, taking seventh at 57kg in the senior freestyle division. He will move up to 61kg this weekend as he competes in the U23 U.S. Nationals freestyle bracket.
Cael Swensen is back in action this weekend after sitting out the 2024-25 wrestling season with an injury. Swensen competed at the U23 U.S. Nationals last year, where he took second after beating 2025 All-American Matty Bianchi in the semi-finals. He will look to have another strong showing this weekend at the U23 U.S. Nationals.
