HOLLISTER, M.O. – The South Dakota State women's golf team finished second at the Ozarks National Invitational Wednesday. A strong day-two finish (+3) helped the Jacks climb five spots on the leaderboard from seventh place.
McKenzie Mages led SDSU with a +11 final scorecard over three rounds. She placed 11th on the individual leaderboard, one shot away from a top-10 finish.
Hannah Boraas finished in a tie for 12th, one shot back from Mages (+12), followed by
Reese Jansa tied in 14th place (+13).
Riko Danjo finished tied in 22nd with a +16 three-round scorecard.
Molly O'Hara placed in a tie for 35th (+24).
Samantha Stites competed individually for the Jackrabbits this week. She finished tied for 55th (+31).
The Jackrabbits posted a 912 (+48) final team tally, eight shots back from host Missouri State, which finished first. SDSU finished ahead of Summit League foe South Dakota, which finished fourth, respectively.
NOTES
- SDSU tallied a par score on 154 holes, the second most of all participating teams.
- Hannah Boraas and McKenzie Mages tied for first on par-3 holes, averaging 3.07 shots.
