STANFORD, Calif. - South Dakota State senior
McKenzie Mages was even par Monday for the first round of the NCAA Stanford Regional and is tied for 16th place on the individual leaderboard at Stanford Golf Course.
Mages is the top Jackrabbit after the opening lap. She tallied four birdies on the day, three of which came on her first six holes.
Following Mages is
Molly O'Hara, who finished +4 for round one with three birdies. She is tied for 44th place.
Reese Jansa is +6 and tied for 52nd place,
Riko Danjo is +7 and tied for 56th and
Hannah Boraas is +8 and in 63rd place.
The Jackrabbit team is tied with Illinois for 10th place on the team leaderboard with a +17 team tally. Stanford leads the field at -9 on its home course and has four players under par. New Mexico State's Emma Bunch, playing as an individual, leads the field with a -7 scorecard.

The Jackrabbits are set to tee off at 10:55 CT Tuesday morning, beginning on hole 10. SDSU will play with Illinois and the Naval Academy.
