MAGES NAMED TO ACADEMIC ALL-LEAGUE TEAM

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota State senior McKenzie Mages was one of five athletes named to the 2026 Women's Golf Academic All-League Team by the conference office Thursday.
Honorees are recognized for excellence in the classroom along with strong performances on the course during the 2026 season. This is the Academic All-League third honor of Mages' career. In competition, Mages paced the Jackrabbits' in every event this season and is the reigning Summit League individual champion. Mages posted a 4.0 cumulative GPA for her undergraduate courses in communication studies and maintains a 4.0 as a graduate student.
To be eligible for the Academic All-League team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 (on a 4.0 scale), completed at least one full academic year at the current institution and participated in 50 percent of his team's competitions.
Nominations are brought forth by sports information directors from the league's eleven institutions and voting is conducted by both the SIDs and facility athletic representatives (FARs). The team is made up of the five student-athletes receiving the most votes with all ties standing.
