BROOKINGS, S.D. - The South Dakota State women's golf team has added Aja Blankenship to its roster for the 2026-27 season.
Blankenship, a Highlands Ranch, Colorado native, will enroll at SDSU as a freshman this fall. She is a four-year member of the Valor Christian High School varsity team that won the 5A state title in 2024, 2025 and 2026. In 2025, Blankenship finished seventh individually at the state tournament. She posted a 74.8 average in 2025 and 76.4 average in 2026.
Blankenship's father, Dan, is an SDSU's golf alum and was the architect for the Rabbit Patch short course at Brookings Country Club.
Blankenship is the daughter of Dan and Neuma. She plans to major in architecture.
