South Dakota State will host six head-to-head equestrian competitions, including the ECAC Championship, during the upcoming 2026-27 season.
The Jackrabbits, who are coming off a 2025-26 campaign in which they posted a 6-8 overall record under first-year head coach Julia Werkhoven, are slated to open the season with a pair of nonconference road competitions in Texas, traveling Sept. 17 to Baylor and Sept. 18 to TCU.
SDSU's home opener is set for Oct. 10 against Minnesota Crookston at the DeHaan Equestrian Center, and will be followed with an Oct. 30 home matchup against UT Martin.
The remainder of the Jackrabbits' fall schedule will consist of away competitions at Delaware State (Oct. 22) and UT Martin (Nov. 20), as well as a meeting with South Carolina on Nov. 21 in Martin, Tennessee.
Action resumes Jan. 22, when SDSU welcomes Delaware State for the first of three consecutive home competitions. The Jackrabbits also will host SMU on Feb. 13 and TCU on Feb. 19 before finishing the regular season with a Feb. 26 trip to Minnesota Crookston.
The four-team ECAC Championship is set for March 26-27 at the DeHaan Equestrian Center. The Jackrabbits reached the finals of the ECAC Championship for the first time this past spring.
