SDSU MEN WIN ST. OLAF INVITATIONAL

Northfield, Minn. – Three Jackrabbits finished inside of the top five as the SDSU men won their second consecutive meet to begin the season, taking first at the St. Olaf Invitational at St. Olaf Cross Country Course on Saturday, Sept. 19, in Northfield, Minnesota.
HEAD COACH ROD DEHAVEN
"It was good for guys to gain some confidence. An outstanding start to Owen Stuwe's career. He raced very smart and I look forward to seeing what he and the rest of our runners can do down the road."
HOW IT HAPPENED
Owen Stuwe paced the Jackrabbits, finishing in second place overall behind an unattached runner, clocking in at 25:33.9.
Sully Anez and Luke Johnson each finished inside the top five, with times of 25:37.2 and 25:40.1 respectively.
Jared Lutmer placed 7th with a time of 25:44.9, while Caleb Morris and Tate Grabow each narrowly missed out on top 10 placements, crossing the line consecutively 11th and 12th.

The Jackrabbit men, along with the women are scheduled to compete again next Friday in Columbia, Missouri at the Gans Creek Classic.
