2016: Served as the team’s starting first baseman for the second straight year and led team with eight home runs, 48 runs batted in and 450 putouts … collected 15 multi-hit games … tied school record in the Division I era with a 19-game hitting streak from March 29 through April 29 … connected on first home run of the season – a solo shot – in opening weekend of play against Florida Atlantic (2/21) … was 2-for-5 with a double and two runs batted in in series opener at Sacramento State … doubled twice and drove in pair of runs in series opener at Northern Colorado (3/11), followed by another two-hit game the next day … began 19-game hitting streak with hit in home opener against Dakota Wesleyan (3/29) … feasted on North Dakota State pitching in three-game home series (4/15-17), going a combined 7-for-12 with three home runs, nine runs batted in and four runs scored as Jackrabbits recorded a sweep … was 3-for-5 with career highs of two home runs and six RBI in middle game of NDSU series (4/16) … hit a grand slam to cap 3-for-5, five-RBI afternoon at the plate in win at Omaha (4/23) …. homered and was 2-for-4 with two RBI in series finale against Fort Wayne (5/8) … doubled twice as part of 3-for-3, three-RBI day at the plate at North Dakota (5/11) … collected three hits, including a double, and scored twice in regular season finale at North Dakota State (5/21)
2015: Earned the team’s Big Stick Award after leading the squad with five home runs and sharing the team lead with 13 doubles ... recorded 14 multi-hit games, including six with three or more hits ... notched three hits and knocked in a run in season-opening tournament finale against Northern Illinois (2/15) ... went a combined 4-for-7 at the plate as Jackrabbits swept doubleheader from Southern (La.) (3/7) ... hit a three-run home run in second-game of home doubleheader against Dakota Wesleyan (4/1) ... was 2-for-4 and drove in pair of runs in series opener against North Dakota State (4/10), then homered in each of the final two games of series (4/11, 4/12) ... drove in career-high five runs by going 3-for-5 with double, home run and two runs scored in series finale versus Omaha (4/19) ... named Summit League Player of the Week after continuing hot hitting against North Dakota, going 8-for-12 at the plate in three-game road series (5/8-9) ... opened series by tying career high with four hits, including a double and home run, and adding three runs scored and three RBI ... closed regular season with 3-for-3 afternoon at the plate versus Fort Wayne (5/15) ... tallied career-high 15 putouts in Summit League Baseball Championship game against Fort Wayne (5/22)
2014: Honored as team and Summit League Freshman of the Year ... tied for third on team with 23 runs batted in and ranked fourth on team with nine doubles as the team’s primary designated hitter ... drove in pair of runs in win at Jackson State (Miss.) (2/15) ... went 4-for-4 with double, four RBI and two runs scored against Mount Marty (4/8), followed by 2-for-4, three-RBI performance against Minnesota (4/9) ... finished season with six multi-hit and six multi-RBI games ... was 2-for-3 and drove in two runs at Fort Wayne (4/18) ... hit lone home run of season in series opener at Iowa (4/25) ... put together 10-game hitting streak late in season, including two-hit outing against Omaha (5/2) and two-double performance versus Western Illinois (5/10)
BEFORE SDSU: Was one of the top power hitters in the state of Iowa, hitting a combined 22 home runs over three seasons at Ankeny High School ... also compiled an 18-2 record on the mound from 2011-13 ... earned first-team all-state honors for state title team in 2012, when he hit .438 with 13 home runs, 14 doubles and 51 runs batted in, along with an .867 slugging percentage ... also in 2012, was 7-1 on the mound with a 1.52 ERA ... again earned first-team all-state honors as a senior in 2013, when he batted .356 with six home runs, 14 doubles and team-high 43 RBI ... went undefeated on the mound, posting a 6-0 record with 1.83 ERA in helping lead Ankeny to state quarterfinals
