2009: Played and started in 48 games durng her season season and was second on the team with a .326 average (47-for-144) ... second on the team with 17 runs, 47 hits and a .362 on base percentage ... all-time SDSU leader with 65 stolen bases ... named to the All-Summit League second team ... had 14 multi-hit games ... went 4-for-7 with two runs scored and a stolen base during the first two games of the Tulsa Select Festival against Creighton and St. Louis (2/20) ... went 4-for-8 with a double, a run scored and a RBI during a double header at IUPUI (3/20) ... set a career high with four hits and had a double vs. IPFW (4/10) ... went 3-for-4 with a run and an RBI at UMKC (4/18) ... ended her career by going 4-for-6 with two runs and two RBI vs. Dakota State and Oakland (4/30-5/1)
2008: Played in and started 41 of the team’s 44 games ... set the SDSU career stolen base record at Southern Utah (3/14) when she stole her 48th career base ... finished the season with 17 steals for a career total of 58 ... committed just two errors in the outfield ... tied a career-high with three hits vs. Iowa State (4/30) ... tied a career-high with three steals vs. Boston College (2/23)... finished the season with seven multi-hits games
2007: A force on the base-paths during her sophomore season, Brooke posted a South Dakota State single-season record 27 stolen bases ... after just two seasons already ranks third on the school’s all-time stolen bases list with 41, just behind Ashley Kalina (47) and Megan Johnson (44) ... led the team with 25 runs scored ... batted .263 (35-for-133) with an on-base percentage of .329 ... committed just one error in the outfield ... stole at least two bases in six games ... went 3-for-4 with three runs scored and three steals against UMKC on April 13 ... also scored three runs and stole a pair of bases against IPFW on March 8 ... recorded seven multi-hit games ... started 47 of the team’s 49 games ... earned All-Independent Second-Team honors
2006: Brooke earned Independent All-Newcomer honors following a solid freshman campaign ... played a key role off the bench as she scored 16 runs and went a perfect 14-for-14 in stolen bases ... primarily used as a pinch-runner, she hit .349 for the season ... named Division I Independent Newcomer of the Week after putting together a 5-for-9 performance against Minnesota ... for the season, she went 15-for-43 with four walks for a .417 on base percentage ... recorded three multi-hit games ... one of just two Jackrabbits to earn the title “Iron Jack” for her efforts in the weight room
Before SDSU: Came to SDSU after graduating from Madison High School ... competed in softball, cross-country, gymnastics, power lifting and track and field during high school career ... earned academic all-state recognition in both gymnastics and track ... holds three school records in track and field and one state record ... anchored the 2005 Madison 4x100 and 4x200 championship squads ... 2005 state champion in power lifting ... four-time gymnastics team state champion ... gained valuable playing experience as member of Dakota Wild, Minnesota Irish and Tri-Valley club teams ... twin sister of fellow Jackrabbit Brittany Postma
