Two-time district champion in the 100-yard backstroke, as well as a two-time state qualifier at Westside High School … added a region championship in the 100 backstroke his junior season … placed 18th in the 100 backstroke at UIL 6A State Championship as a junior while moving up to 12th as a senior … also qualified for the state meet in the 50 freestyle as a junior and in the 100 freestyle his senior season … competed on the club circuit with the Dads Club Swim Team and was a multi-time Speedo Sectionals qualifier … placed 13th in his age group in the 200-meter backstroke in 2023 meet in Austin, Texas, and was a B finalist in both the 200 backstroke (12th) and 50 freestyle (16th) in 2025
