Dani Broshar and Kiley Schwedhelm recorded the only two-hit performances of the day, but Stephanie Peters, Ashley Durazo, Greta Stroh and Broshar all knocked in a pair of runs in the win.
Needing just one run to secure the win in the bottom of the fifth, Peters came through with a single just out of reach of the Jaguar second baseman that allowed the Jacks to end the game in the fifth.
After falling into an early 2-0 hole when Jenna Marston struggled to get going in the morning chill, the Jacks bounced back to tie the game at two in the bottom of the second, when Stroh plated Brittany Postma and Broshar with a triple to the wall in right field.
SDSU then took the lead for good in the bottom of the third, when Broshar singled home Durazo and Heinzman to put the Jacks on top 4-2.
After giving a run back in the top of the fourth, the Jacks exploded for four more runs in the fourth.
Schwedhelm opened the inning with a single, and then scored two-batters later on a Heinzman single.
Heinzman stole second to put runners at second and third for Brooke Postma, who reached on an error that allowed Stroh to score from third, which put SDSU up 6-2.
After a pitching change and a Postma stolen base, Durazo came up and doubled home Heinzman and Postma for an 8-2 Jackrabbit lead, but Durazo got thrown out at third to end the inning.
Needing three runs to end the game in the fifth, Schwedhelm doubled off the wall to score Brittany Postma for the first run, and then scored on a Stacey Evans double in the next at bat.
Peters then pinch hit for Brooke Postma with two outs and the bases loaded, and delivered the walk-off two-RBI single to end the game and secure the three-game weekend sweep.
After shaking off the cold start, Marston hung to complete the game, scattering four hits with four walks and five strikeouts to earn the win, which improves her to 11-14 on the season.
