Jacks grab seven wins in Crookston

CROOKSTON, Minn. - The South Dakota Sate Western riders
picked-up seven wins and shared reserve high point team honors on Sunday in an
Intercollegiate Horse Show Association show over the weekend in Crookston,
Minn.
Tory Ruppert won her section of advanced horsemanship on both days of the show, Britta Barta won her section of advanced horsemanship on Saturday and then finished second behind teammate Brittnay Entsminger on Sunday.
Hannah Stone finished first in her section of intermediate horsemanship on Saturday and then finished third on Sunday. Also on Sunday, Leah Bohlander and Hillery Baysinger both won their respective sections of novice horsemanship.
Host Minnesota, Crookston won high point team on Saturday and then shared reserve high point team with the Jacks on Sunday. North Dakota State won reserve high point team on Saturday and high point team on Sunday.
The Jackrabbit Western riders get the rest of the calendar year off before returning to action on Feb. 6-7, at North Dakota State.
