SDSU posted a 168-132 victory over the University of South Dakota while losing to host University of North Dakota 178-118.5.
Ferley, a sophomore from Rapid City, shattered the 1,000 freestyle record set during last year's Summit League Championships by Christina Gerometta by more than seven seconds on her way to her first career win in the event, clocking in at 10 minutes, 37.23 seconds.
Ferley would also start for the winning 200 freestyle relay of Anna Howard, Ashley Valdez and Alexandra Hoffman, who finished with a time of 1:41.80.
Katie Budahl continued her outstanding senior season with a pair of breaststroke victories as she won the 100 in 1:05.83 and the 200 in 2:21.64. The Mitchell native is a perfect eight-for-eight in the 200 breaststroke this season.
Saturday's triangular concluded the 2009-10 dual season for the Jacks as they will return to the pool next weekend in the two-day Minnesota Challenge beginning on Feb. 5 in Minneapolis.
