Erf Breaks School Record at Jean Freeman

The South Dakota State women's swimming and diving team completed day one of the Jean Freeman Invitation on Friday in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The 17-team invitational is hosted by Minnesota.
Kristin Erf broke a school record in the 100 breaststroke, placing first with a time of 1:02.23. Erf also finished second in the 50 freestyle in 23.72.
The team of Richelle Bruyckere, Cassie Hendricks, Jade Goosen and Erf finished third in the 200 freestyle relay in 1:36.71.
Freshman Daniela Santillan placed eighth in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:11.38 and Ashley Theobald finished fourth in the 200 IM in 2:07.69.
In the 200 butterfly, Alexandra Spinner and Alexandra Yaeger claimed third and fourth place finishes, respectively.
Junior Emily Moore placed 13th in the 1-meter dive with a score of 188.50.
The Jacks will resume competition on Saturday starting at 10 a.m.
