The South Dakota State women's swimming and diving team topped South Dakota 156-142 on Saturday in Vermillion, South Dakota.
The Jacks won 11 events on the day improving to 3-3 on the season.
SDSU opened the day with a win in the 200 medley relay as
Samantha Prasher,
Kristin Erf,
Alexandra Spinner and
Ashley Theobald took first in 2:01.88.
The team of
Richelle Bruyckere, Erf,
Daniela Santillan and
Katya Vakshteyn broke a pool record in the 400 freestyle relay claiming first in 4:00.84.
Erf continued her winnings ways taking first in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:13.36. The Minnesota native also won the 200 breaststroke in 2:41.83.
Senior
Elizabeth Buchholz captured first in the 800 freestyle (9:29.48), while Bruyckere claimed the 100, 200 and 400 freestyle with times of 1:00.48, 2:09.14 and 4:33.15, respectively.
Spinner continued to shine in the butterfly taking first in the 200 with a time of 2:26.98 and 1:05.94 in the 100.
Theobald closed out the wins with a first-place finish in the 500 freestyle (26.78).
