The South Dakota State women's golf team plays its final tournament of the fall Monday and Tuesday when it competes in the 2018 UC Irvine Invitational in Santa Ana, California.
The 54-hole tournament is at the par-72, 6,072-yard Santa Ana Country Club. The 12-team field has an 11 a.m. shotgun start Monday and tee times Tuesday. The Jacks will be paired with the host Anteaters and San Diego State.
The Jackrabbits are making their second appearance in the event. In 2016-17,
Teresa Toscano finished eighth, shooting a 225 (78-75-72). SDSU placed third and three Jacks finished in the top 10.
This fall, Toscano leads South Dakota State and ranks third in The Summit League with a 73.50 stroke average. She won the season opener and has a pair of top-15 finishes in four tournaments.
Mia Seeman is having a strong rookie season, posting a 77.08 stroke average with a top-five finish at the UNO Invitational.
The Jackrabbits have a 303.58 stroke average and rank third in The Summit League.
