The No. 9 South Dakota State equestrian team hosts Minnesota Crookston on Saturday for the final regular-season meet of the season. Start time is slated for 9 a.m.

All-Time Series
The Jacks and the Golden Eagles are meeting for the 13th time in program history with SDSU leading the series 11-1. The last time the two teams met was in November 2017 when SDSU defeated Crookston, 18-2.

Scouting SDSU
No. 9 SDSU comes into the weekend after going 0-3 in Texas against TCU, SMU and UT Martin.

The Jacks fell to TCU, 12-5, at SMU, 15-5 and against UTM, 10-6.

In Equitation over Fences, Jessica Martinez, Taylor Duerr and Jacey Chorlton all captured points for State throughout the weekend.

Jacey Chorlton garnered MOP accolades at SMU and two points in Equitation on the Flat. Claire Garduno and Matilyn Skinner also claimed points for the Jacks.

In Horsemanship, Nichole Zazula, Jordan Gates and Rylee Streit were all victorious in the discipline.

Jordan Gates and Catelyn Hall both won two points in Reining, with Gates garnering MOP honors against UTM. Seniors Miranda Sullivan and Mariah Wright also won their points against UTM, while Madison Sullivan topped her point at TCU.

SDSU will compete at the United Equestrian Conference tournament March 30-31 in Dallas, Texas, hosted by SMU.
