PHOENIX—South Dakota State's
Teresa Toscano won the GCU Invitational, her third collegiate individual title, and the Jackrabbits' women's golf team finished fifth Sunday.

Toscano won her title after a three-person playoff. She registered a birdie while Southern Utah's Chanikan (Pluem) Yongyuan and Lamar's Elodie Chaplet recorded pars on the first hole.

The junior shot a career-tying 4-under par 212 (70-71-71) and collected 12 birdies. Her first title this season came Sept. 1, 2018, at the season-opening UNO Invitational.

The Jackrabbits shot a three-round 896 (299-305-292) on the par 72, 6,059-yard GCU Golf Course. Toledo won the 20-team event with an 877.
Mia Seeman tied for 28
th (76-76-74=226) and
Lani Potter tied for 36
th (77-78-72=227).
Cassidy Laidlaw finished 56
th (76-80-75=231) and
Sydney Bormann tied for 90
th (80-83-79=242).
