BLYTHEWOOD, S.C.-- South Dakota State equestrian dropped its meet against Sweet Briar College, 4-3 Friday afternoon.
Fences
Hayley Kastrup took the first ride of the day, scoring an 80 to earn a point and MOP in the event. Jessica Martinez scored a 70 for her ride to earn a point while Samantha Hunsecker earned a point with a 77-point ride. Glaire Garduno scored a 74 in her ride. The Jacks led 3-1 at the halfway point.
Flat
Jessica Boesch had a team-high and career-best score of 79 on the Flat while Kastrup drew a tie with her ride of 77. Garduno had a ride of 56 and Martinez scored a 55. SDSU fell 3-0 in the event.
