EATONTON, Ga. -
Shakira-Ann Kuys paced South Dakota State at the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invite, which wrapped Sunday at the Great Waters Golf Club.
Kuys tallied a 231 (74-78-79, +15) final score over three days in Georgia. She finished in a tie for 35th place, the best finish for the Jackrabbits. The junior recorded par on 32 holes and tallied six birdies.
Piper Stubbs was three strokes behind Kuys and finished tied for 49th place with a 234 (79-75-80, +18). She posted three straight birdies on holes three through five during Sunday's round. Stubbs had nine birdies on the weekend, the sixth-most of all players.
Reese Jansa finished in 61st place (80-76-81--237, +21), followed by
Alex Kandolin in a tie for 61st (82-79-78,--239, +23). Kandolin's 78 Sunday was her best round of the tournament.
Molly O'Hara ended the tournament in a tie for 77th place (83-86-83--252, +36).
The Jackrabbits placed 15th out of 15 teams with a 941 (+77) team score. Host Mercer was the only team to finish the tournament under par and won the team title. Mikayla Dubnik and Camilla Jarvela, both of Mercer, finished first and second, respectively.

South Dakota State is off until March 11-12 when it hosts the Jackrabbit Invitational in Boulder City, Nevada.
