BOULDER CREEK, Nev. – The South Dakota State women's golf team finished in 13th place at the Clash at Boulder Creek, which wrapped up Tuesday at Boulder Creek Golf Club.
The Jackrabbits tallied a +22 final team score, five shots behind Nebraska, which finished 12th. Northern Arizona went 24-under over three rounds to win the team title by four shots over New Mexico State.
McKenzie Mages had the best finish of the week for SDSU. The senior finished tied for ninth on the individual leaderboard, firing a -1 over 54 holes. Mages tallied two birdies and one eagle during her final lap.
Riko Danjo finished tied for 58th
with a +8 final scorecard.
Hannah Boraas finished one shot back from Danjo, posting a +9 tally to finish tied for 62nd place. Boraas marked three birdies during her final lap of the tournament.
Reese Jansa posted a +10 final tally, one shot behind Boraas, to finish tied for 65th.
Molly O'Hara placed in a tie for 86th
(+16).
Hannah Pettitt, competing individually, finished tied for 101st (+24).
Northern Arizona had four players finish inside the top ten. NAU's Lizzie Neale finished in third place at -9 overall to lead the Lumberjacks.
NOTES
- SDSU tied for third as a team on birdies, tallying 44.
- This is the 13th top-10 finish of McKenzie Mages' career, moving her into a tie for sixth place all-time at SDSU.
