GREENSBORO, Ga. - The South Dakota State women's golf team will kick off the spring season Friday at the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational hosted by Mercer.Â
The Jackrabbits will be led by Piper Stubbs in the No. 1 spot, followed by Tatum Depuydt, Molly O'Hara, Reese Jansa and Shakira-Ann Kuys. McKenzie Mages will compete as an individual.Â
SDSU played four events in the fall portion of the season and was led by Stubbs, who averaged 73.3 strokes per round over 12 rounds played. She had two top-10 finishes in the fall. Mages wasn't far behind, averaging 73.7 shots per 18 holes in the fall and had one top-five placing.Â
LAST TIME OUT
The Jackrabbits finished sixth at the Clash at Boulder Creek to wrap the spring season back in October. Three Jackrabbits fired a 69 (-3) over the final lap of the event. Mages tied for 17th place in the final standings with a 212 (-4) tally to lead the squad.Â
