BROOKINGS, S.D. – The South Dakota State men's golf team officially released its 2025-26 schedule Tuesday ahead of its season-opening tournament this coming weekend.
SDSU is set to participate in six tournaments in the fall and seven events in the spring, highlighted by a pair of SDSU-hosted events – the Island Resort Intercollegiate (August 31-September 1) and the Jackrabbit Invite (March 9-10).
The Jackrabbits will kick off the fall season by hosting the Island Resort Intercollegiate in Harris, Michigan at the Sage Run Golf Club. SDSU will then head to Manhattan, Kansas for the Wildcat Invitational hosted by Kansas State (September 8-9).
The Jacks will compete the Husker Git-R-Done Invitational September 22-23 in Lincoln, Nebraska, before traveling to Newton, Kansas for the Wichita State Intercollegiate October 5-7. To wrap up the fall, SDSU will make a final trip to West Lafayette, Indiana October 13-14 for the Boilermaker Invitational.
The Jackrabbits open up the spring season on the road for the Loyola Intercollegiate in Phoenix, Arizona February 15-17. State will then host the Jackrabbit Invitational in Boulder City, Nevada March 9-10, before heading to the Cowboy Classic in Phoenix, Arizona March 21-April 1.
SDSU will continue the spring slate at the Tiger Intercollegiate in Columbia, Missouri hosted by Mizzou (April 6-7). The team then travels to Columbus, Ohio for the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate hosted by Ohio State April 11-12. The Jacks head to the Hawkeye Invitational April 20-21 in Iowa City, Iowa.
The Summit League Championship will be held at the Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona May 3-5.
The team returns five players from the 2024-25 season and adds five newcomers to the roster.
