SAN FRANCISCO - A pair of Jackrabbit men's golfers are set to compete in the 125th U.S. Amateur Championship this week at The Olympic Club.
Jake Olson and
Ty Adkins are two of 312 players set for the tournament, which begins Monday. The starting field will play 18 holes of stroke play on both August 11 and 12, with one round at the club's Lake Course and one at the Ocean Course, after which the field will be cut to the low 64 scores. Six rounds of match play begin on Wednesday, August 13, and the championship concludes with a 36-hole championship match on Sunday, August 17.
Olson will tee off at 10:24 a.m. CT and Adkins will tee off at 2:46 p.m. CT. More information is available at

In addition to Olson and Adkins, three other Jackrabbits in history have qualified for the U.S. Amateur - David Smith (2009, 2011),
Parker Edens (2010) and Hudson Carpenter (2012).
