SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Bargmann Endowed Head Coach for Track & Field/Cross Country at South Dakota State, Rod DeHaven, has been named the Summit League Cross Country Men's Coach of the Year, as announced by the league on Monday.
This is the 15th time that DeHaven has earned this honor, and it comes after he guided the Jackrabbit men to a league record 11th consecutive Summit League Cross Country championship on Saturday in St. Paul. Five Jackrabbits placed inside the top nine of the field with Eli Hall, Jackson Dutcher, and Cashton Johnson earning First Team All-Summit League honors, while Brandon Kampsen and Cade Sanvik secured second-team recognition. DeHaven has coached the men's team to four meet titles this season.
